For best care, machine wash gently in cold water, using a mild detergent, and avoid using bleach or fabric softeners.

Line dry out of direct sunlight, refrain from tumble drying to prevent shrinkage or fabric deterioration. If necessary, use a cool iron on the reverse side of the fabric to avoid damaging any prints or embellishments.

Avoid contact with rough surfaces or abrasive materials, as this may cause pilling or snags in the fabric. For long-term care, store the garment in a dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to direct heat or moisture.

Sustainability 🍃

Environmentally Responsible
Crafted from a blend of premium yarns partially made from recycled PET bottles, this towel is printed with advanced, high-quality, carcinogen-free inks. This ensures not only vibrant, lasting designs but also minimises harmful environmental impact throughout the printing process.

Sustainable Production
Life Apparel is committed to sustainability by partnering with vetted local and international manufacturers. We produce limited quantities of each design, ensuring both exclusivity and preventing overproduction, which helps to reduce waste and minimise our environmental footprint.

Eco-Friendly Packaging
Our commitment to sustainability extends to our packaging, which is entirely plastic-free. We use kerbside-recyclable or home-compostable mailers to reduce landfill waste. All deliveries are managed by Australia Post, which actively supports carbon-offset projects aimed at reducing emissions and promoting a greener future.

The Artwork
"Dabil is vital for survival; everyone must respect the oceans and waterways for the sake of future generations."

Shara Delaney

Dabil Water Country

2018
Acrylic On Canvas

Shara Delaney is a First Nations artist, a proud Noonuccal, Ngugi, Goenpul woman, currently residing on Yuggera Country (Queensland).

"Dabil" means water in the Jandai language from Quandamooka Country. Shara’s people are known as Yoolooburrabee—people of the sand and sea. They have a strong and spiritual connection to the salt water.

The painting depicts different aspects of water use: the pattern of the flowing fresh water stream, an important resource for life, and the ocean where her people hunt and fish. Dabil is vital for survival; everyone must respect the oceans and waterways for the sake of future generations.
