Kenita-Lee McCartney is a First Nations artist, a proud Wemba Wemba, Wiradjuri, Wotjiboluk, Nari Nari and Boon Wurrung woman, currently residing on Wemba Wemba (New South Wales).

For Kenita, creating is a way to express a moment in time and connect with her ancestors, her people, and her country. She utilises this method as an outlet, a way to heal, share her experiences, and connect to those stories that have been woven throughout her family for many centuries.
