Life Apparel took to the Catwalk last week for Kalgoorlie Fashion Week, or KALFW, along with a range of other talented designers and names in Aussie fashion. The event was held at the gorgeous and historic Boulder Town Hall in Boulder-Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, as one part of a glittering week of fun, frolicking and all things fashion.
Kalgoorlie Fashion Week is a regional high fashion program which actively acknowledges traditional land owners. We were super excited to be part in this week-long fashion event, which each year attracts visitors to the otherwise rather quiet town of Kalgoorlie, which sits at a few hundred kilometres east-northeast of Perth. The week kicked off with a street party launch followed by three couture runway events, each featuring iconic West Australian, national and international designers.
KALFW consisted of a total of seven events over seven days, featuring an array of Aussie talent from all over the country. We hit the catwalk on Thursday evening as a part of the Land of Labels show - an evening dedicated to the work of an array of First Nations designers and artists.
